Ready to understand what's holding you back?
Whether it's anxiety, that won't let you rest, a relationship that keeps hitting the same wall, trauma that still shows up in an uninvited, or boundaries you can never seem to hold – you're not broken. You're just ready to understand what's underneath it. I'm Kimber Wylie, a Level 2 trauma informed counsellor in Langley, BC. I'm here to sit with you in it, help you make sense of it, develop understanding, gain clarity, confidence, and find practical tools to help you move forward with lasting change.
Hi, I'm Kimber.
People have always found their way to me. Long before I had any credentials, friends, strangers, people I just met would open up – I never quite understood why until I started to understand myself better. I think they felt safe. Heard. Like they weren't going to be judged for what they were carrying. I became a counsellor because I wanted to understand how we work. Why do we do what we do? What's actually driving our choices, or reactions, or patterns? There's something almost magical about the complexity of being human, and I wanted to understand all of it. Sometimes what you need most is simply to be heard, witnessed, and to have someone to sit with you in it. And sometimes you need to understand what's underneath and walk away with real tools to move forward. Most of the time, it's all three.
My approach is trauma-informed, judgment-free, and grounded in evidence-based therapy. I'm a level two Trauma-informed Counsellor based in Langley, BC, trained in CBT, DBT, Narrative, therapy, Somatic Therapy, Compassionate Inquiry informed, EFT, Gottman, and Parts Work.
